Terms of Service

You get a flat price in writing before we build anything. Your website build is yours to own. Hosting and care is a simple monthly service you can leave any time, and if you leave, we hand everything over free. The rest of this page is just those promises in a form lawyers recognize.

Behind You Hospitality Solutions, LLC ("Behind You," "we," "us"), Kansas City, Missouri. These terms apply to your use of behindyouhospitality.com and, together with your written quote or agreement, to the services we provide. If a signed agreement says something different, the signed agreement wins.

Website design and development. Hand-built websites at a flat, written price. The scope of your build (pages, features, functions) is set out in your quote, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Hosting and care. Our standard monthly service covers hosting, security, contact-form email handling, uptime monitoring, first-party traffic analytics, unlimited edits to the site you have, and free UI upgrades as our build quality improves, as described on our Websites page. Genuinely new features and functions are quoted separately, flat and in writing, and approved by you before we build.

Custom software and business tools. If you are interested in streamlining operations with custom software, AI, or business management tools, we offer tailored solutions designed around your workflow. Pricing, scope, and ownership terms for those are determined through a one-on-one discovery conversation and set out in their own written agreement.

Free website report card. The report card is an automated evaluation of publicly visible information about a website and business listing, prepared at your request. It is informational, not a guarantee of any result.

When your website build is paid for, it is yours: the design, the website code, the content, your domain, and the hosting setup. If you ever choose to leave, we hand over every file and login at no charge. Ownership of custom software or tools beyond the website build is defined in the written agreement for that project. The systems we use to produce and operate sites (our pipeline, scoring engine, go-live engine, and analytics) remain ours.

Anything you give us for your site (your logo, photos, copy, menus) stays yours, and you are responsible for having the right to use it.

Build work is invoiced at the flat price quoted in writing. The monthly hosting and care fee is billed monthly and can be cancelled any time; cancellation ends the service but never holds your site hostage. We do not do hidden fees or surprise charges. If a number was not shown to you first, you do not owe it.

Sites and services we host may not be used for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, including malware, phishing, or content you do not have the right to publish. We can decline or discontinue service for abuse, with notice where practical.

Some features rely on third parties, for example Calendly for scheduling, or payment and booking platforms integrated into a site. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

We stand behind our work and fix what is ours to fix. Beyond that, the site and services are provided "as is" and "as available"; we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation of the internet. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Kansas City, Missouri.
