Behind You Hospitality Solutions, LLC ("Behind You," "we," "us") is a technology company based in Kansas City, Missouri. Information you send us. When you use our contact form, request a free website report card, or book a consultation, we receive what you provide: typically your name, email, phone number, business name, and, for report cards, your website address.

Site analytics. We run our own first-party analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, page speed as measured in your browser, device and browser type, and approximate location (city level). A random identifier is stored in your browser so we can tell returning visits apart. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other websites.

Automated visitors. Our hosting logs visits from search engines and AI crawlers (for example Googlebot or GPTBot) so we can see how the site is being read by machines. This log is about software, not people.

Email engagement. Emails we send may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we know what is useful and when to stop reaching out.

Public business information. When preparing to reach out to a business, or when you request a report card, we may review publicly available information: public listings and public websites, the same information anyone could look up.

To respond to you, provide and improve our services, prepare website report cards you request, schedule consultations, and, for businesses, occasionally reach out about our services. We do not send spam, and any outreach email includes a way to opt out. Tell us once and we stop.

We never sell your information. We never rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

Like most modern businesses, we use a small set of service providers to operate: Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and the edge log described above), Supabase (secure data storage), Resend (email delivery for reports), Calendly (consultation scheduling), and Google (sign-in for our internal team portal, Search Console, and the mailboxes our team sends from). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

Want to know what we have, correct it, or have it deleted? Email info@behindyouhospitality.com and we will take care of it. No forms, no runaround. Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly.

We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and we protect it with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we would want ours treated.

Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes get a plain-English note, not buried legalese.
